A dentist does not document like a general practitioner. They think in numbered teeth, surfaces and periodontal pockets; they draw up estimates before treating; and their billing depends on the payer as much as on the procedure. That is why Aida Dental exists alongside Aida MD, with its own vocabulary and its own tools.
The dental chart fills in by voice
During the examination, you describe what you see, as you normally would: "occlusal caries on 36", "crown on 21". Aida Dental enters it on the dental chart straight away, using FDI tooth numbering.
The periodontal chart fills in the same way: you dictate the measurements, Aida places them. The materials and suppliers mentioned are recognised and recorded with the treatment performed.
Documenting the visit
Like Aida MD, Aida Dental transcribes the consultation in the background and drafts the clinical documentation: the findings and the treatment performed. You review, correct if needed, and approve. Aida does not make a diagnosis in your place; it records what you observe and decide.
Treatment plans and estimates
The treatment plan can be dictated. From that plan, Aida Dental pre-calculates the estimate according to the SSO dental tariff (DENTOTAR®), ready to be checked and given to the patient.
Billing that takes the payer into account
In Switzerland, the same treatment is not billed the same way depending on who pays. Aida Dental identifies the payer: the patient privately, accident insurance (LAA), compulsory health insurance (LAMal), supplementary insurance (LCA) or social insurance, including the SPC and the Hospice général in Geneva. It then applies the corresponding SSO tariff (DENTOTAR®, AA/AM/AI or LAMal). Invoices are pre-calculated, then transferred to your practice software.
Aida Dental is compatible with ZaWin, Denteo, Dentagest and Médident.
Data stays in Switzerland
Your patients' data is stored and processed in Switzerland, with an ISO 27001-certified hosting partner, and encrypted at rest and in transit. Our AI models run on our own servers: no clinical data is sent to OpenAI, Google or Anthropic, and nothing is used to train a model without your written consent.
